Body Supports 

Body Supports are similar to Body Hoists and are powered to raise or lower their own weight only. The Body Support, however, has no motive power capability to raise or lower the car but provides support of the car body only when trucks are being removed. Car Hoists are required to be used with Body Supports. Standard capacities range from 5 to 20 tons.
